Welcome to the Night of the Dancing Diamonds

It is a great pleasure to announce to you that two significant events will be held in Baku on 28−29 October 2023: the WDC World Ballroom Championship and the exclusive dance show — " Night of the Dancing Diamonds" which will present the best dancers in the World in different dance styles — the real dancing diamonds. WDC World Ballroom Championship — is. Within the WDC World Ballroom Championship, which is undoubtedly a symbolic event for the sport and dance life of Azerbaijan, dance couples and solo competitors of different dance styles will be able to compete at the Open to the Worlds Events.

The SRDS company will represent its own innovative method for kids — Solo Smooth — a totally new direction in American Smooth which is interesting for the aestetic appreciation of this sport’s discipline which encourages gaining the skills in Ballroom dancing and helps with harmonious physical development of young sportsmen.

We also expect to see on Baku’s stage amazing Pro-Am couples, who today represent one of the brightest and unique parts of Ballroom dancing.

The SRDS company extends warm words of appreciations to Azerbaijan Dance Council headed by its president, National Artist of Azerbaijan, Tarana Muradova for invitation to become co-organizers of this great event. We are highly proud that our competitions will be held in the jubilee year — the 100th anniversary since the birth of great statesman and far-sighted politician Heydar Aliyev, who paid great attention to implementation of large-scale projects for prosperity of the country in the sphere of culture, sport and creative potential, and raised the country’s international profile. This concept is very close to SRDS mission, and we will do our best for implementation of these ideas in our event.
